The 2011 sales tax-free weekends are upon us! This year, 16 states have sales tax holidays in August, just in time for the back-to-school season.
It's time to save money, at a time when money needs to be saved. Parents are heading to stores to buying tons of school supplies for their kids, college students are headed back to campus to buy tons of school supplies for themselves, and those of us who are not in back-to-school mode can join in on the savings.
Since tax-free weekends occur at different times across the country, if at all, check the calendar below for your state's tax-free days, and check the list beneath the calendar for a description of the items you can save on.
