She holds an MBA with a concentration in Corporate Finance from St. Edward's University in Austin and a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to joining InvestingAnswers, Sara was a senior analyst with an Austin-based hedge fund focused on the high-yield bond and distressed debt markets.

For nearly 20 years, Melvin Pasternak taught a self-designed course for TD Waterhouse titled Winning in the Stock Market. Thousands were trained under Dr. Pasternak's course, which combined both intensive technical and fundamental analysis to uncover how to profitably beat the market. He also taught for over 25 years at Mount Royal University in Calgary. Melvin's trading expertise has been in high demand and he has been interviewed several times by CBC Radio-Canada and the Calgary Herald.
